The Role

You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data solutions that support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building and maintaining end-to-end data pipelines and ETL processes
  • Developing analytics-ready datasets and semantic data models
  • Designing robust data architectures within Microsoft Azure
  • Supporting the creation of a new semantic data layer for reporting and analytics
  • Working closely with architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions
  • Improving data quality, performance, governance, and reliability across the platform
  • Contributing to best practices, tooling decisions, and future data engineering standards
  • Supporting the evolution of the wider data landscape and future AI initiatives

Your Skills & Experience

  • Strong commercial experience in Data Engineering
  • Excellent SQL skills and experience working with large datasets
  • Experience designing and maintaining ETL workflows
  • Strong understanding of data modelling principles
  • Exposure to Microsoft Azure and cloud-based data platforms
  • Experience building scalable, production-grade data solutions
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, stakeholder-facing environment
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant quantitative or technical discipline

Desirable experience:

  • ClickHouse
  • dbt, DLT, Dagster, or similar modern data tooling
  • Semantic modelling or semantic layer development
  • SaaS environments
  • Healthcare or regulated industry experience
  • Dutch language skills, or an interest in learning Dutch
